Sitemap pages are intended to help visitors see how a website is organized and to find their way around in case they need to go deeper than the main navigation links are intended for and they prefer to use links rather than using site search.
Sitemap pages can also help search engines understand the structure of a website (in addition to the automatic sitemap.xml file we also include on every website.
