We sent out the following email today regarding our pricing.
We hope you find it refreshing.
If you're like us, you've been getting a lot of emails lately about pricing increases on the services you use - technology, insurance, utilities, and everything in between. Not to mention the cost of everything else in life going up - groceries, gas, lumber, and on and on.
So we wanted to let you know that Banyan Theory is NOT raising our rates this year.
While we can't guarantee that we won't ever have to increase our pricing, I'm proud to say that in 15 years, we've never raised our rates for existing customers. And we don't plan to now.
How are we able to keep our pricing fixed, even while our own operating costs have been inching up? We're careful and deliberate about our expenses. A good year doesn't equal an immediate company-wide getaway to the tropics. It means we have a bit more in our slush fund for times like this.
Will this mean less profit for us this year? Yes. But we'll ride it out. Keeping our customers happy is more important.
Does this mean we'll start cutting corners? Nope. Just like our pricing isn't changing, neither is our commitment to quality service.
There is one change you may notice - over the course of the next few months, we're transitioning to a 4-day work week. You'll still be able to reach us Monday through Friday, during the same business hours, but the person you normally interact with will only be here 4 days a week, as we'll stagger the days that each individual is off.
We hope this comes as welcome news, and that we'll continue to work together on your marketing efforts for many years to come.
